PUPILS VISIT OUR BUCKTON FIELDS JOB

Last week, we were delighted to welcome pupils from The Gateway School to our Buckton Fields Primary School project, where we are delivering the brickwork package for our valued client Tilbury Douglas.

The visit, organised by our Operations Director, Lee England, gave the students an opportunity to experience a live construction site, learn about the different careers available within the industry, and, most importantly, have a go at bricklaying themselves! 🧱 It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm and willingness to get involved!

A special mention goes to our second-year apprentice, Shaigh England, who helped lead the workshop. As a former pupil of The Gateway School himself, it was a great opportunity for him to return and share his own apprenticeship journey, showing the students what’s possible with hard work and determination.

A big thank you to Tom Butcher from Tilbury Douglas, our Site Supervisor Paul O’Reilly, and everyone involved in making the visit such a worthwhile experience.

We’re proud to support opportunities that inspire the next generation and showcase the rewarding careers our industry has to offer👏🏼
